“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4:7

There is so much turmoil, evil, and trouble in our world that it is imperative that we walk close with Jesus. Every where you turn there are people who are hurting. Some from sickness, some from strife in their family, or work places: But if you pray and be filled daily with the Spirit of God, you can enjoy His peace.
Jesus said, “In the world you shall have tribulation: But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (St. John 16:33) And again in St. John 14:1 ” Let not your heart be troubled: You believe in God, believe also in me.” Again, St. John 14:27 ” Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: Not as the world gives, give I unto you.
Jesus gave us the Holy Ghost who is our comforter. He guides us, He teaches us, and abides in us. So that, we are never alone. Glory to God! I feel Him even as I write this Pastor’s pen.
Soon and very soon, we shall see the Lord! Keep praising Christ. Think on the good things. You can have peace in God our Father.

“O Lord I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.” Habakkuk 3:2

Habakkuk is crying out to God for revival. Not just personal revival, but for national revival. As he prays he also pleads for God to have mercy in the time of wrath. It is necessary that judgment must come; God would not be a Holy God if He did not deal with the wicked: But He is also merciful and holy, and desires to save us from destruction. God has promised if we pray and turn from our wicked ways, He would hear our prayer and heal our land (2 Chron. 7:14). America needs revival. If we don’t see revival we will not keep our blessing, and lose what God has given us. In order to have national revival, it must begin in us individually first. Revival does not just happen; it comes as a result of prayer, renewal, and repentance. But if we will obey the voice of the Lord, God will move on our behalf. Note in verse 2; Habakkuk said, “O Lord, I have heard your speech, and was afraid.” Proverbs 1:5 -“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning…” Verse 7 -“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” I ask you; hear the voice of the Lord: For He is calling America to return to ways that made America great. Only God can make America great again. Please heed the call and pray, revive us again O Lord!

…Every one that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; even them will I bring to my Holy Mountain, and make them joyful in my House of Prayer.”
Isaiah 56:6-7

The word Sabbath means to rest. Among the Hebrews, moreover, the Sabbath was associated with the idea of rest, worship, and divine favor. Jesus came into conflict with the religious leaders of His day and taught that the Sabbath was made for man’s benefit, and that man’s needs must take precedence over the law of the Sabbath.
Since the Lord’s resurrection was considered to be the most blessed day in the lives of Christians, they began early on to meet for worship on the first day of the week and designated it as the Lord’s Day. The main purpose is to keep a day of rest and worship and honor the Lord.
Jesus quoted the verse above in Luke 19:46, expressing the sacredness of God’s house and the blessing of joy mentioned in Isaiah for gathering in prayer. The Spirit of this day is to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, and the slackness of prayer.
God has always blessed the congregation that will maintain the coming together in the Spirit of Prayer. I am feeling the great need to do all I can to encourage prayer. Beginning in March, I would like to renew the Sunday night prayer service. Please allow the Lord to touch your heart in participating in this urgent need. I know God will bless us if we will.

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.”
1 Corinthians 13:1

The Apostle Paul is writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit concerning receiving (1 Cor. 12: 31) and exercising the gifts of the Spirit given to us by God. In the verse above, He shows the possibility of operating these gifts in a backslidden condition. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance (Rom. 11:29).
In this text, Paul speaks of the ability to speak with tongues of men and of angels: But to do so without having charity (Love), would be as a sounding brass or tinkling cymbal. I equate that to mean just a noise without the touch of God’s anointing; it fails to bless anyone. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life (2 Cor. 3:6). Preaching without love can do more damage than good.
The word for charity in the original Greek is “Agape” which means spontaneous and divine love. That is the God kind of love. 1 Cor. 13, is one of the most beautiful chapters in the entirety of God’s Word. For it reveals that if you do good things for the wrong purpose and not out of the Spirit of Love, you will profit nothing (V. 3). But charity never fails (V. 8).
As we have just celebrated Valentine’s Day, Let us be filled and show the love that our God and Saviour Jesus Christ has given to us. For God is Love!

I preached last Sunday on being overcomers. I had a great word: Revelation 12:11; but it seems I had a poor delivery. It’s hard to bring out all that the Lord would speak in just one hour or less. People in America do not seem to hunger for the Word in this day as much as they did in earlier days. Amos 8:11, God said: “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.” In order to see a true revival and awakening, it requires devotion, and a great hunger and thirst for the Word and prayer. Revival does not come easily. There is a price for revival, and most do not want to make the sacrifice or pay the price. But, oh, if we could only breakthrough, what a joy and great blessing would come forth. The reward would surely exceed the price. And again, it takes overcomers to have revival. We must overcome strongholds in our personal lives, as well as strongholds over the cities or regions that principalities have gained. Jesus said; “How can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? And then he will spoil his house.” Matt 12:29. The devil may be a strong man, but Jesus can give us power to be stronger than the strong man. May God hear our prayer and strengthen the church, that we will see the enemy cast down, and Jesus be glorified. Send revival Lord to America, I pray! In Jesus name!
