“And ye shall seek me, and find me,
when ye shall search for me with your whole heart.”
Praise the Lord, I am encouraged for the increase in the spirit of prayer and intercession that is happening within our congregation. I definitely feel that our prayers are making a difference and we shall see great and mighty things as we continue to seek the Lord.
God is not moved by half hearted worship and devotion; He is looking for a people who are passionate and willing to give themselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word. Too many people are going through the motions of religion, only paying lip service to God. Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees hypocrites and quoted Isaiah saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. (St. Matthew 15:7,8).
When God’s people sincerely pour their hearts out unto the Lord; Stop sneaking Him and start seeking Him then, you will find what a mighty God we serve. A God of power, and might, A God who is able and willing, to do exceeding, abundantly, above, all that we ask or even think. Amen, and Hallelujah! According to the power that works in us. God bless you and give you a heart filled with His goodness.
